Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Rincon, GA is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and master food prep, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring our food is delicious and safe. You’ll order ingredients, train teammates, and keep the kitchen organized and stocked to meet daily goals.

The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and equipment. You’ll follow safety procedures, help develop Crew members into future leaders, and uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Restaurant experience is necessary.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; repair promptly if malfunctioning.
• Ensure the kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
