Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders, while ensuring quality, safety, and a clean, organized kitchen.

You will model teamwork and provide a great customer experience on a fast-paced line. Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen standards, managing inventory, coaching Crew members, and ensuring throughputs and safety compliance across shifts.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, resolving quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and proper equipment operation in the kitchen.
