Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. in Allen, TX is seeking a Kitchen Leader to oversee food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring high-quality, delicious results.

You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and efficient kitchen operations. You will collaborate with back-of-house and front-of-house teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences, manage inventory, and keep equipment in good condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and maintain it in good repair; repair malfunctioning equipment quickly.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
