Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Lehigh Acres, FL is seeking a Kitchen Leader who will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll ensure food quality, safety, cleanliness, and efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

You will help maintain stock, follow procedures, and promote teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew, delivering a great guest experience and upholding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; repair malfunctioning equipment quickly.
• Ensure that the kitchen and all Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
