Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Florida is seeking a Kitchen Leader who will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while ensuring quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen. You’ll train Crew members and help develop future Kitchen Leaders, delivering a great customer experience and keeping timelines on track.

This role emphasizes teamwork, hands-on cooking, inventory control, MSDS and FIFO routines, and strong communication with Crew and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with crew and customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with crew and customers to ensure excellent service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and properly sanitized.
• Maintain equipment and arrange quick repairs when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
