Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader in Cranberry Township to learn and perform food preparation, grilling, and sautéing while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You’ll oversee food quality, cleanliness, stock levels, and equipment maintenance, promoting teamwork and a superior guest experience. The role emphasizes a hands-on approach with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure repairs when needed.
• Ensure a safe kitchen environment with proper guidelines to prevent injuries.
