Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Morrisville, NC seeks a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform high-quality food preparation, grilling, and sautéing while training future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll order food, maintain kitchen standards, and promote teamwork to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will help ensure food quality, safety, and inventory while keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and well-stocked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is in good repair; address malfunctioning equipment quickly.
• Ensure the kitchen and Crew members meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
