Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise the cooking and food prep to ensure delicious meals. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders while maintaining quality, safety, and cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will promote teamwork, handle stock and equipment upkeep, and help deliver an excellent customer experience. Prior restaurant experience is preferred and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food waste; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and repairs are completed promptly.
• Uphold safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO records as required.
