Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in New Jersey is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You are responsible for making sure our food is absolutely delicious and will order food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will help ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle’s delicious food every day, keep the kitchen clean and well stocked, and ensure equipment is maintained. This role promotes teamwork and a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
