Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Closter, NJ is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You’ll order the food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders, while ensuring top quality and safety in a fast-paced kitchen.

As a Kitchen Leader you’ll promote teamwork, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and support Crew in delivering a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned, sanitized, and well maintained.
• Monitor equipment and repair promptly; prevent injuries or accidents.
