Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring delicious results. You’ll order ingredients and train teammates to become future Kitchen Leaders, with a focus on quality and safety in a clean, well-stocked kitchen.

The role emphasizes promoting teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house crews, serving as a role model for peers, and helping the team deliver a great guest experience across shifts.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle policies, cook and prep food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support team dynamics between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment; arrange quick repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventory records.
