Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in New Jersey is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen while promoting teamwork and delivering a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Be able to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location (English).
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned, sanitized and well maintained.
• Monitor equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Follow MSDS and FIFO inventory processes.
