Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grill meats, and saute vegetables while training others to become Kitchen Leaders.

The role focuses on maintaining food quality, safety, stocking, and equipment upkeep, all while promoting teamwork and delivering a great customer experience. Prior restaurant experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and restaurant experience are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Crew members and customers.
• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures to prepare food to order.
• Monitor inventory levels and food waste, resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, proper sanitation and safe operation of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
