Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is looking for a Kitchen Leader to train on preparing great food, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables. You will order supplies and coach teammates to become future Kitchen Leaders, while promoting teamwork and a superior customer experience.

You will ensure food quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and maintain equipment. The role emphasizes leadership, efficiency, and collaboration across both back-of-house and front-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures while preparing food to order and maintaining kitchen standards.
• Monitor food waste, inventory levels, and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned, sanitized, and equipment is maintained and functioning.
• Address safety guidelines to avoid injuries and accidents in the kitchen.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation as required.
