Job summary

Meridian Wingers is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen and run solo shifts in the absence of another manager. You will oversee all departments to ensure smooth operation and uphold Wingers standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining food quality, training a cohesive team, managing cleanliness, and controlling food costs within budget while ensuring food safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory position.
• Minimum 3 years as a cook in a commercial kitchen.
• Fluent in English (reading and writing).
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lb.
• Stand for up to 6 hours.
• Must have a great attitude and smile.
• A love and passion for great food!

Responsibilities

• The Leader in the Kitchen and guarantees uncompromised food quality.

• Recruits, trains, and maintains a cohesive kitchen team.
• Maintains kitchen cleanliness and well maintained equipment.
• Manage restaurant food cost within the approved budget.
• Oversee food & beverage inventories, ordering and receiving.
• Ensure adherence to Wingers standards and procedures.
• Handle kitchen scheduling and labor costs within budget.
• Ensure QA standards and proper behavior training.
• Responsible for overall food safety and sanitation.
• Work on line during key meal periods and prep as needed.
