Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader who will learn to prepare high-quality food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring safety and quality standards. You will order supplies and mentor Crew to grow into future Kitchen Leaders, promoting teamwork and an exceptional guest experience.

The Kitchen Leader will help maintain a clean, organized kitchen, stock supplies, and ensure equipment is in good condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak/read/understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; address quality issues.
• Support strong teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with crew and customers to ensure great service.
