Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to guide food preparation, ensure quality and safety, and train Crew members for future leadership. You will manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, and support a collaborative back- and front-of-house environment to deliver a great guest experience.

Based in our Bridgeport, CT area, this role emphasizes teamwork, hands-on coaching, and adherence to Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy while driving operational excellence and guest

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle’s policies and procedures while performing duties.
• Cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitoring food waste and inventory levels and resolving quality issues.
• Supporting a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crews.
• Developing Crewmembers to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicating effectively with Crewmembers and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensuring kitchen is cleaned and sanitized, and equipment is maintained.
