Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grilling, and sautéing to ensure delicious, safe, and high-quality food. You will order supplies, supervise Crew, and mentor future Kitchen Leaders while promoting teamwork and a positive customer experience.

You will be on your feet, manage your station’s goals, and participate in keeping the kitchen organized, clean, and properly stocked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolving quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house teams.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked; maintain equipment.
• Ensure kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and inventory rotation (FIFO).
