Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill seeks a Kitchen Leader to learn and lead food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring delicious, safe, and consistent meals. You will order supplies and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, promoting teamwork and outstanding guest experiences.

As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards, while mentoring back-of-house and front-of-house teams to meet daily goals and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Have restaurant experience.
• Have the knowledge to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitoring food waste and inventory levels, and resolving food quality issues.
• Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicating with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput.
• Ensuring kitchen cleanliness, safety, and proper equipment maintenance.
