Job summary

The GIANT Company in Southampton, PA is hiring a deli/prepared foods team member. You will make sandwiches, pizzas, heat soups, and transfer deli items to display cases, following plan-o-gram (POG) and SOP.

You'll prep, label, and merchandise foods, assist customers, restock, and maintain food safety and cleanliness. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position
• Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance
• Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools required for the job

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
• Produce and prepare deli items (sandwiches, subs, wraps, pizza) per SOP/POG.
• Label, merchandise, and package products for the display and case.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitize surfaces, tools, and equipment.
• Complete food safety compliance logs and track loss as required.
• Train teammates and assist customers; support grab-and-go and hot bar offerings.
• Conduct inventory reviews and assist with ordering as needed.
• Follow safety, PPE, and policy guidelines and uphold store standards.
