Chestnutmtn is seeking an expediter to manage order flow in the kitchen, ensuring dishes leaving the line are hot, garnished, and accurate. The role involves clear communication with wait staff and cooks to maintain quality and timely service.

The expediter will verify order tickets, store tickets securely, and help keep the kitchen organized under high-pressure restaurant conditions.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• At least one year of restaurant kitchen experience.

Responsabilités

• Communicate orders from service staff to the kitchen.
• Ensure all plated items meet quality standards for presentation and temperature.
• Ensure plates are hot and properly garnished before leaving the kitchen.
• Make certain every food item is accounted for during prep and service.
• Safely store all food order tickets for later reference or audit.
• Label and date all products to maintain freshness and traceability.
