Job summary

Marmic Fire & Safety Co. is seeking a Kitchen Systems/Fire Extinguisher Technician to install, inspect, maintain and repair kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers.

You will work on-site with commercial and residential kitchens, ensuring systems are safe, compliant, and operating correctly. You will apply NFPA codes, install pre-engineered systems from major brands, and perform routine maintenance while delivering strong customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and professional attitude required.
• Experience with AFEX, Ansul, Amerex preferred.
• Ability to operate diagnostic and hand tools safely.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.
• Capability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers.
• Perform on-site setup and routine maintenance for commercial and residential kitchens.
• Diagnose issues and troubleshoot malfunctions in fire protection systems.
• Prepare inspection reports and obtain customer signatures daily.
• Communicate with clients to schedule service and advise on maintenance.
