Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker at Lindenwood University. The role supports kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across food production and service areas.

You will handle cleaning of equipment and spaces, restock supplies, and assist with setup and breakdown tasks as directed. The position requires physical stamina and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
