Job summary

Sodexo at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is seeking an on-site Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in food production and service areas.

You will perform dishwashing, surface sanitizing, floor care, and supply restocking, with potential full-time or part-time shifts. No prior experience required; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.
• No related work experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums floors, and removes trash.
• Re-stocks supplies such as soap and towels.
• Assists with setup and breakdown tasks as directed.
