Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker at the University of Hawaii at Manoa to support kitchen and facility operations with cleanliness and sanitation across food production and service areas. The role may include setting up and breaking down tasks as directed and may vary by client requirements.

Ideal candidates may have a high school diploma, basic knowledge of sanitation, and no prior work experience is required.

Qualifications

• Sanitation procedures and basic food safety awareness.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment with chemicals to maintain sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies like soap and cleaning materials.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and maintain regularity.
• May have other duties as assigned depending on account needs.
