Ruby Tuesday in Winter Haven, FL is seeking an Expo to ensure timely preparation of all food orders and to coordinate with service teams for TueGo, catering, dining room, and bar areas.

The role focuses on accurate order prep, proper food temperatures, and safe sanitation. You will manage expo flow, assist with special orders and allergen requests, and maintain a clean, efficient work area while supporting a cooperative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
• Ability to understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and with federal, state and local serving regulations.
• Ability to operate a computer, phone and other office equipment.
• Attention to details with good organizational and efficient time management skills.
• Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) to maintain service flow and prepare items to spec.
• Ensure hot foods stay hot and cold foods stay cold.
• Organize table orders in expo area by tickets.
• Complete side work and station maintenance.
• Set up, clean, and organize work area before, during, and after shifts.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage re-cooks and special-order requests including allergens.
• Expedite food for TueGo, Catering, dining room, and bar areas.
• Maintain a gracious, friendly attitude and support teamwork.
