Job summary

Ruby Tuesday in Riverview, FL is seeking an Expo team member to ensure timely food preparation, communicate with service and kitchen teams, and expedite TueGo/Catering orders.

You will use the Kitchen Display System (KDS), maintain plate quality, organize orders, and handle side work while keeping sanitation and safety guidelines in mind.

This role requires at least 18, no prior experience required, and offers flexible shifts including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to provide friendly guest service.
• Understanding of proper food handling and serving techniques.
• Ability to operate a computer, phone and other office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) to maintain flow of service and prepare items to spec.
• Ensure food is served hot/cold as required and meals are presented well.
• Organize table orders in the expo area according to tickets.
• Complete side work and station maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area before, during, and after shifts.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Handle re-cooks and special orders, including allergens.
• Expedite food service for TueGo, Catering, dining room and bar areas.
• Maintain a friendly attitude and contribute to a teamwork-based environment.
• Support service team to generate repeat business and reduce guest complaints.
• Other duties as assigned.
