Ruby Tuesday in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Expo team member to ensure timely food preparation and accurate dish assembly for TueGo/Catering, dining room, and bar orders. You will coordinate with service and kitchen staff to expedite orders and maintain quality.

The role requires a friendly, guest-focused attitude, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Training on KDS, safety, and sanitation is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
• Ability to understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and with federal, state and local serving regulations.
• Ability to operate a computer, phone and other office equipment.
• Attention to details with good organizational and efficient time management skills.
• Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) to maintain the flow of service, control cost/waste, and prepare items to spec.
• Ensure the highest quality preparation and presentation of food items; confirm hot items stay hot and cold items stay cold.
• Organize the table orders in the expo area according to tickets.
• Complete side work and station maintenance as assigned.
• Set up, clean, and organize the work area before, during, and after every shift.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage re-cooks and special-order requests, including allergen orders.
• Expedite service for TueGo, Catering, dining room, and bar areas.
• Maintain a gracious, friendly attitude and support a teamwork-based environment.
