Ruby Tuesday in Jensen Beach, FL is seeking an Expo / Kitchen helper to ensure timely food preparation and accurate orders for TueGo/Catering, dining room and bar. You will coordinate with service and heart-of-house teams to expedite deliveries and maintain quality.

Ideal candidates are 18+, customer-focused, with strong teamwork, basic computer skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
• Ability to understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and with federal, state and local serving regulations.
• Ability to operate a computer, phone and other office equipment.
• Attention to details with good organizational and efficient time management skills.
• Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) effectively to maintain the flow of service, control cost/waste, and prepare items to spec and accommodate guest modifications.
• Ensure the highest quality preparation and presentation of food items; confirms hot food is hot and cold food is cold.
• Organize the table orders in the expo area according to the tickets.
• Complete specific side work and station maintenance.
• Responsible for the set-up, cleanliness, and organization of the work area before, during, and after every shift.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage the preparation of all re-cooks and special-order requests, including allergen orders.
• Expedite the service of food for TueGo, Catering, dining room, and bar areas.
• Maintain a gracious, pleasant and friendly attitude, while contributing to a teamwork-based work environment.
• Support the service team in a way as to create new and repeat business and avoid guest complaints.
