Job summary

Ruby Tuesday in Big Rapids, MI is seeking a Food Expo attendant to ensure timely order prep and accurate presentation for TueGo, catering, and dine-in service. You’ll work with service and kitchen teams to expedite deliveries and support guest experiences.

Role emphasizes attending to allergen orders, safety, sanitation, and a flexible schedule. Experience is not required; training provided for all duties in a busy restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
• Understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and regulations.
• Able to operate a computer, phone and office equipment.
• Attention to details with good organizational and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with effective listening and communication.
• Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with composure and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) to maintain service flow and accuracy.
• Ensure high quality preparation and presentation; keep hot foods hot, cold foods cold.
• Organize table orders in expo area according to tickets.
• Complete side work and station maintenance.
• Set up, clean, and organize the work area before, during, and after shifts.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Prepare re-cooks and special orders, including allergens.
• Expedite service for TueGo, Catering, dining room, and bar areas.
• Maintain a friendly attitude and support teamwork.
• Assist service team to create new business and reduce guest complaints.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
