Job summary

Chick-fil-A Murray is seeking a Kitchen Director to own the back-of-house operation with a focus on leadership, systems, and performance. You’ll lead the kitchen team, manage inventory, safety, and cost, and ensure consistent quality across shifts. This is a leadership role, not a cooking job, reporting to Restaurant Director / Operations Leadership.

The role offers a clear growth path within Chick-fil-A’s leadership pipeline, with Sundays off and full-time scheduling.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays
• Stand for extended periods, work in hot kitchen, lift up to 50 lbs
• Punctuality and reliability
• Basic counts: par levels, waste, and food cost

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the kitchen team and shift leaders
• Set the pace during peak periods and build systems for consistency
• Own ordering, inventory, and food safety programs
• Coach in the moment with encouragement and correction
• Maintain sanitation, temperature controls, and quality standards
