Job summary

Chick-fil-A Medina is seeking a Back of House Director to lead a 30+ member kitchen team and drive operational excellence. You will coach leaders, develop teammates, and ensure premier food quality, safety, and service standards every day.

As part of a strong leadership team, you will build scalable systems, foster accountability, and grow future leaders while upholding Chick-fil-A values and servant leadership culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a restaurant or fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to develop and coach teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Open availability including opening and closing shifts.
• Chick-fil-A experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Back of House team of 30+ Team Members.
• Coach, mentor, and develop future leaders through intentional leadership development.
• Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellence.
• Oversee daily Back of House operations, ensuring remarkable food quality, speed, and accuracy.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop Back of House Team Members.
• Own labor scheduling, staffing plans, and team accountability.
• Drive food safety, cleanliness, and Chick-fil-A operational standards.
• Monitor and improve key performance metrics including food cost, waste, labor efficiency, and operational execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, efficiency, and profitability.
• Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to achieve long-term restaurant goals.
• Help create an environment where people are challenged, developed, and equipped for future leadership opportunities.
