Carter Lumber is seeking a Kitchen Design and Sales Representative for the Commercial Multi-Family division. You will manage design, measurement, and final sale from initial concepts to delivery, working with developers, builders, and homeowners.

We value proven design skills, strong relationship-building, prompt follow-through, and excellent communication. Salary plus commission with growth opportunities across a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Design and sell to multi-family developers, general contractors and project teams.
• Excellent cabinetry knowledge: materials, finishes, detailing and trends.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficient in 20/20 design software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong math for accurate quoting and budgeting.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced commercial multi-family setting.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design interior spaces for kitchens, baths, offices and more for multi-family projects.
• Take measurements on site and translate them into accurate plans.
• Develop proposals and secure final sales with developers, builders and homeowners.
• Identify sales opportunities and follow through to close.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver projects on time.
