Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is hiring a kitchen/service associate to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings and assist with serving lines in our school dining operations. You will participate in occasional catering and perform all kitchen duties as needed.

The pay range is $15.00-$16.50 per hour, with rates varying by school district. The role requires following recipes, HACCP standards, and a willingness to support students and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day’s menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO inventory.
• Assist with dishwashing and restock serving items as needed.
• Serve items with correct portions and maintain quality presentation.
