Encompass Community Services is hiring a Kitchen Coordinator for its Si Se Puede program in Watsonville, CA. You will plan, prepare, and assist residents with nutritious meals for a 23-bed facility, contributing to residents' health and well-being.

You will work in a therapeutic environment with residents in recovery, requiring teamwork, strong hygiene, and budget-minded inventory control. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with hours to be negotiated.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of experience cooking and planning meals.
• California Food Handler Card required or ability to obtain before hire.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Aufgaben

• Plan and prepare nutritious meals for residents and post weekly menus.
• Manage food donations and organize pickup from local sources.
• Maintain inventory of food, kitchen supplies and cleaning materials within budget.
• Keep kitchen clean and compliant with health and safety codes; report equipment issues.
• Schedule is Monday–Friday; hours negotiated with Program Manager.
