Job summary

Sevita’s NeuroRestorative division is seeking a Cook/Housekeeper to coordinate menus, maintain kitchen inventory, and prepare meals for individuals receiving services in on-site settings across our network. You will ensure proper food handling and assist with housekeeping duties in a health-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus and work orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared.
• Prepares, seasons and cooks food.
• Carves portions of meat, fish or fowl for individual servings.
• Inspects food storage and directs sanitary maintenance of kitchen and storage facilities.
• Oversees and coordinates activities of kitchen workers preparing and cooking foods.
• Plans and reviews menus.
• Determines food quantities, labor and overhead costs.
• May participate in food preparation.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundering needs.
• Performs other related duties and activities as required.
