Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some experience helpful; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Dietician/Dietary Management and Cook as requested.
• Help with meal preparation according to residents' dietary needs.
• Assist in serving meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Timely setting up of meal service and delivery of meal trays and food carts.
• Follow established portion controls.
• Adhere to sanitation and food safety guidelines during meal preparation and clean up.
• Keep work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers clean.
• Sweep and mop floors; dishwashing and utensil cleaning.
• Return clean dishes to proper storage areas; dispose of garbage and food waste per facility regulations.
• Obtain food supplies for the next meal and follow safety regulations.
