Job summary

The GIANT Company in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a team member for deli and food preparation duties. Participate in making sandwiches, pizzas, and other hot and cold menu items, while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and proper labeling.

You will help customers, maintain cold cases, and support plan-o-grams and SOPs. Responsibilities include shift preparation, food safety records, loss tracking, and training fellow team members.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare accordingly.
• Produce foods for the hot bar, deli, and display per SOP and plan-o-gram (POG).
• Maintain clean and sanitized surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors and counters.
• Complete food safety compliance logs daily and track losses (KLT).
• Train team members and assist customers with deli products.
• Prepare sandwiches, pizzas, and snacks; handle meat and cheese portions and label items.
• Assist with grab-and-go products and organize the sales floor cooler and freezer.
