Job summary

Hajoca Corporation is seeking a Design & Sales Consultant for the Johnson City, TN showroom. You will assist customers with product selection, provide design services, and conduct in-home consultations for kitchens and baths.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in plumbing design and sales, with knowledge of luxury products, kitchen/bath trends, and architectural blueprints. Proficiency in MS Office and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in plumbing design and sales.
• Knowledge of showroom products preferred.
• Experience with luxury, high-end products and customers.
• Knowledge of kitchen & bath design trends.
• Experience with architectural blueprints and aesthetics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for emails, files, and reports.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Deep product knowledge of kitchen/bath trends and upselling opportunities.
• Ability to overcome objections by understanding customer needs and offering solutions.
• Ability to build relationships and teamwork with colleagues and vendors.
• Strong planning, organization, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Willingness to learn and operate order-processing systems.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert product selection assistance and design services in-showroom and at customer locations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction to meet or exceed sales and gross profit goals.
• Provide hospitality and warmly welcome customers.
• Sell and provide in-store and in-home design consultations for kitchen and bathrooms.
• Articulate showroom value proposition to engage and upsell customers.
• Determine needs, guide product choices, and keep sales moving forward.
• Build long-term customer relationships and referrals.
• Develop knowledge of product lines and features.
• Use Hajoca technology to guide selections and check pricing/availability.
• Leverage sales reports to meet targets.
• Follow-up on leads and generate new business.
• Process showroom orders, bids, returns, and refunds per policy.
• Keep showroom clean, stocked, and safely displayed.
• Attend industry events and trainings to stay ahead of trends.
• Complete required safety and compliance training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
