Job summary

Carter Lumber Company, via its Kitchen & Bath division, seeks a Kitchen Design and Sales Representative to transform client needs into stunning spaces—from measurement to delivery. You will design, quote, and close sales, collaborating with builders, contractors, and homeowners to create kitchens, baths, and other spaces in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will bring proven sales strategies, strong relationship-building abilities, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and sell to contractors/homeowners.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen and bath cabinetry, materials, finishes and trends.
• Ability to read blueprints and translate designs into quotes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Design interior spaces (kitchens, bathrooms, offices, mudrooms, bars, etc.) for clients.
• Handle measurements, design deliverables, and secure final sale with builders and homeowners.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders and homeowners to generate sales.
• Coordinate with vendors and teams to ensure accurate product selection and timely delivery.
