Job summary

FOREST HOME CHRISTIAN CAMPS is seeking a kitchen assistant to support guest services with high-quality kitchen operations. You will help cooks, wash dishes, and keep the kitchen clean while maintaining a positive guest experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or progress toward, basic kitchen experience, and the ability to work weekends. First Aid/CPR certification is preferred, along with a California food handler permit. Bilingual abilities and a friendly attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or working toward that goal.
• Some kitchen experience preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certified, or willingness to acquire certifications.
• Current Ca food handlers permit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be detail-oriented and work well under pressure.
• Flexible schedule to meet service needs of guest groups.
• Work weekend shifts.
• Communicate effectively in English (Spanish a plus).
• Be a team player.
• Assist cooks when needed and wash dishes.
• Clean kitchen after meals.
• Close kitchen at end of shift.
