Job summary

KioCafe is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Field Installation & Technical Support Technician to join our growing team. This role installs, configures, troubleshoots, and supports our self-service payment systems, kiosks, and related hardware/software at customer sites across the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technical support, field service or installation.
• Experience interacting directly with customers in a technical support role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel across the United States.
• Willingness to travel 70–90% of the time.
• Experience with POS systems, kiosks, payment terminals, or self-service tech.
• Field service or installation experience in retail, vending, coffee, hospitality, or payment technology industries.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to install, configure, and deploy KioCafe payment and self-service solutions.
• Install and troubleshoot hardware, payment devices, kiosks, networking equipment, and peripherals.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, remote access tools, and ticketing systems.
• Train customers on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in tickets.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering or product teams.
• Assist with product rollouts, pilots, and evaluations.
• Ensure safety compliance and high customer satisfaction.
