Job summary

Coinstar is seeking a Field Technician to service kiosks across an assigned territory in the United States. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electromechanical systems, and test components for reliable operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with 2+ years of troubleshooting/repair experience OR Associate Degree in electronics or similar concentration
• Basic background knowledge in computer hardware and software and knowledge of computer‑controlled equipment
• 1+ year of field experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance including cleaning inside and outside kiosks, removing debris, and changing paper
• Electromechanical troubleshooting, calibration, repair and maintenance
• Test kiosk components including connectivity, software and electromechanical functionality
• Perform remote diagnostics and assist other technicians; schedule advanced problems
• Manage field change orders and updated signage, wireless kits, and software updates
