Job summary

TFI Family Services in Kansas is seeking a full-time Relative-Kinship Worker to join our KS Permanency / KS Case Management Department. A bachelor’s degree in child and family services with at least two years’ experience is required; we will teach you the rest!

As a Relative-Kinship Worker, you will work to promote the well-being of children, support relative-kinship caregivers, and coordinate community resources for the children served. Flexible scheduling and a supportive team await.

Responsibilities

• As a Relative-Kinship Worker, you will work to promote the well-being of children.
• Relative Kinship Workers teach skills such as emotional regulation, having healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and healthy communication within families.
• Relative Kinship Workers help to facilitate kinship meetings and to identify potential kinship and/or relative placement options.
• Relative Kinship Workers provide on-call support to caregivers and crisis intervention, as needed.
• You would coordinate community resources for the children served.
