TFI Family Services in Wellington, KS is hiring a full-time Relative-Kinship Worker to support the well-being of children within the KS Permanency / KS Case Management Department.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in child and family services and at least two years of experience; the role includes on-the-job training, kinship meetings, caregiver support, crisis response, and coordinating community resources to help families thrive.

• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Ability to work with families and caregivers toward healthy outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Promote the well-being of children in collaboration with caregivers and the department.
• Train and support relative-kinship caregivers and children in home.
• Facilitate kinship meetings and identify kinship/relative placement options.
• Provide on-call support to caregivers and crisis intervention as needed.
• Coordinate community resources for the children served.

We are looking for a full-time Relative-Kinship Worker to add to our KS Permanency / KS Case Management Department! All you need is a bachelor’s degree in child and family services field with at least two years’ experience in child and family services.

A Day in The Life as a Relative-Kinship-ICPC Worker

As a Relative-Kinship Worker, you will work to promote the well-being of children. Relative Kinship Workers teach skills such as emotional regulation, having healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and healthy communication within families. Relative-Kinship Workers work together with our relative-kinship caregivers to help train and support them and the children in their home. Relative-Kinship Workers help to facilitate kinship meetings and to identify potential kinship and/or relative placement options. Relative-Kinship Workers provide on-call support to caregivers and crisis intervention, as needed. As a Relative-Kinship Worker, you would also coordinate community resources for the children served.
