Job summary

TFI Family Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Relative-Kinship Worker in our KS Permanency / KS Case Management Department. A bachelor’s degree in child and family services with at least two years of experience is required. We will teach you the rest!

As a Relative-Kinship Worker you promote the well-being of children, support kinship caregivers, and coordinate community resources. You will join a dedicated team focused on family strength and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in child and family services field.
• At least two years’ experience in child and family services.

Responsibilities

• Promote the well-being of children.
• Teach skills such as emotional regulation, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and healthy communication within families.
• Coordinate kinship meetings and identify kinship/relative placement options.
• Provide on-call support to caregivers and crisis intervention, as needed.
• Coordinate community resources for the children served.
