Job summary

Wayzata Public Schools in Minnesota is seeking a part-time paraprofessional to support K-5 students during daily sessions (3.25 hours: 9:15-12:30 on student contact days). The role focuses on creating a safe, engaging classroom, lunchroom, and playground environment.

You will join a recess paraprofessional team for grades 1-5, assist with small group learning, 1:1 interactions, and assessments, with starting pay of $21.44 per hour and non-benefit eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Support K-5 students in the classroom throughout the day.
• Be part of a recess paraprofessional team for grades 1-5.
• Maintain a safe, friendly classroom, lunchroom and playground.
• Provide 1:1 student interaction and assessment as needed.
• Assist with small group work and targeted learning activities.
