Job summary

Wayzata Public Schools is seeking paraprofessional substitutes to provide coverage in a variety of capacities, including lunch/recess, one-on-one student support, and classroom group supervision. Outdoor supervision in all weather will be part of the role, with flexibility to choose when and how often you work.

Substitutes who perform well are often considered for regular on-going vacancies. Prior experience with K-12 students and the ability to pass a background check are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience working with K-12 aged children.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage in lunch/recess, work one-on-one with students, and supervise groups.
• Supervise outdoor activities in all weather conditions.
• Assist during lunch lines and monitor student behavior.
