Wayzata Public Schools in Minnesota is seeking a part-time paraprofessional to support K-5 students during daily sessions (3.25 hours: 9:15-12:30 on student contact days). The role focuses on creating a safe, engaging classroom, lunchroom, and playground environment.

You will join a recess paraprofessional team for grades 1-5, assist with small group learning, 1:1 interactions, and assessments, with starting pay of $21.44 per hour and non-benefit eligibility.

Administrative Professional and Paraprofessional Contract

Position Description

The person in this position will support K-5 students in their classroom. In addition, this person would be part of a recess paraprofessional team for grades 1-5. The successful candidate will work 3.25 hours a day and have the chance to support the academic, social and behavioral learning of students. Examples of duties include maintaining a safe, friendly and supportive classroom, lunchroom and playground; supervision of an entire classroom; small group work/support; and 1:1 student interaction and assessment.
