Qualifications

• DPS issued IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, First Aid and CPR required.
• Ability to pass background and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Support Higley Unified School District's vision, mission and goals.
• Assist classroom teacher with materials, activities, and classroom setup.
• Assist students with personal care and supervise students in lunch, bus, and playground.
• Help manage behavior and support individual or small groups.
• Prepare rooms at start and end of day; sanitize toys and maintain cleanliness.
• Provide assistance to substitute teachers as needed.
• Safeguard confidentiality of information; maintain student privacy.
• Note: may work with STARS, Brilliant Beginnings, and Kinder Prep programs.
